Call for Papers Open for HEIC 2025
The Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM), in partnership with the Luxembourg School of Business (LSB), has officially opened the Call for Papers for the 13th annual Higher Education Institutions Conference (HEIC 2025), which will be held from 4 to 5 September 2025 in the historic city of Dubrovnik, Croatia.
This year’s conference will focus on a timely and transformative theme: “Artificial Intelligence: The Future of Education in Times of Global Change.” As artificial intelligence continues to reshape industries and societies worldwide, HEIC 2025 will provide a critical platform for educators, researchers, and academic leaders to examine its profound impact on higher education.
The conference invites contributions on a wide range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Artificial Intelligence in Education
- Curriculum Innovation and Quality Assurance
- Lifelong Learning and Skills for the Future
- Distance Learning, Digital Transformation, and E-learning
- The Role of Higher Education in a Globalized World

- Paper submission deadline: July 15, 2025
- Notification of acceptance: August 10, 2025
- Final paper submission: August 20, 2025

All peer-reviewed papers will be published in the official conference proceedings (ISSN), and selected best papers will be recommended for publication in international academic journals.
