HEIC2022

The 10th Higher Education Institutions Conference (HEIC) was held in Dubrovnik, Croatia last year and we are nothing but proud. It was organized by the Zagreb School of Economics and Management (ZSEM) and Luxembourg School of Business (LSB) with the support of AASCB International and ASHE and it welcomed more than 40 participants from 10 countries.

HEIC2022 provided a great space for making international connections, as well as expanding one’s knowledge and skill set, as most of the attendees are professionals with highly relevant international experience. It brought together, as it always has, experts in the field of higher education from all over the world, as well as global opinion leaders and policy makers in the field of quality and management of higher education institutions.

The topic of the conference was „Strategies, Challenges and Opportunities for Sustainability in Uncertain Environment“, discussed through 3 panels. The goal was to discuss relevant topics for Higher Education such as:

  1. Sustainability in Higher Education System
  2. Higher Education Quality Methods and Policies
  3. EIT HEI Innitiative

The two-day conference involved the AACSB Accreditation Workshop, which enabled attendees to gain a valuable look into the new AACSB standards and the accreditation process, speeches of Keynote Speakers, paper presentations, as well as several interesting panel sessions that covered various topics related to innovation and achieving excellence in the field of higher education.

Furthermore, our esteemed Keynote Speakers in 2022 were:

  4. Monika Blodgett, MA

HEIC2022 aimed to be the ideal platform for making international connections for future collaborations in various academic fields. Also, it allowed the exchange of the best practices that concern emerging areas related to entrepreneurship, innovation, strategy, technology, management and education.
